Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Based on the university's mission of educating the whole person, the PhD program supports study for active professionals across a wide range of sectors, including business, government, K-12 education, higher education, health care, social services, and nonprofit organizations. The interdisciplinary program promotes research and scholarship, increases leadership capacity, and develops reflective practitioners with a deepened commitment to service.

The Leadership Core engages students in exploring the interdisciplinary nature of leadership, while the Research Core supports the heart of the doctorate, equipping students to contribute to the body of knowledge in their study emphasis.  Concentration courses examine and investigate theoretical concepts for practice in professional life and assist students in developing and creating a body of knowledge toward contribution to research.
